It’s the most wonderful time of the year, it’s also the busiest time of the year. Strategy is the key to get your home ready for the holidays. With work deadlines piling up, kids’ holiday events to attend, and shopping lists to check off, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why we’ve put together a comprehensive guide on how to get your home ready for the holidays and reclaim your festive cheer.  

Between planning the perfect holiday menu and trying to keep up with a busy schedule, finding time to clean your home can feel impossible. But with a clear game plan, your home can shine and welcome guests with ease.  

Spring Clean and Tidy 

Begin by taking stock of your home and doing a spruce and spring clean. Now is the time to throw out any broken appliances, furniture or boxes that have been floating around. Go through your things and throw out anything that you don’t want to keep.  

Clean Your Foyer  

What do you do when you first walk through your front door? Do you drop your bag and your shoes there? Are there stacks of mail and bits and pieces you intend to put away later?
